French Little Treat by La Maison

La Maison patisserie which is located in Medan, is one of the famous pastry shop that get so much attention from young-people around Indonesia. So many people talking about their macaroons. My friends told me that the queue at la mission was very long. At first I didn't get it why people rave so much about la Maison?  What's so special about it? Or maybe they're just a macaroon-lovers.

 I am really curious what the difference with la Maison macaroons and other macaroons that I've tried. So far the macaroons that I've tried just too sweet and make my throat feel dry. That curiosity make me think ' How great the taste of that macaroons?' 'how good is the macaroon good?

But after trying it, I totally agree with all the rumor said. It's different and fascinating. I understand why people often talking about la Maison and said that they are the best pastry shop in Indonesia. 

 Literally, this is the best macaroons I've ever tried. The macaroon shell was crunchy and delicate. The generous filling was melting-in-mouth and chewy inside. I dare to declare that Lamaison is one of the best macaroon in Indonesia.

I am currently addicted with their macaroons. Seriously, it tastes sooooooo nice. I would like to give La Maison 5 out of 5 for the texture and the generous filling of their macaroon. I couldn't stop taking a bite of the macaroon. My current favorite was the salted popcorn and nutella macaroon. Too bad that the macaroon can't be shipped. I must ask my friend from to buy it for me and bring it to Malaysia. 

I am still craving with their hot choco cross bun and barley's cupcakes.  I hope that La Maison will open their 2nd store in Jakarta soon :) so when the holiday comes I could try their delicate pastry.
